Here's a quick run-down of my process for Sharetribe configuration projects, and how you can expect me to work alongside you.
1. Kick-off and deep dive
We’ll start with a short call to align on your vision, audience, and priorities. Then I’ll send over a tailored setup doc with clear questions to help me understand how your marketplace should work - from listing types and user roles to categories, filters, and permissions.
2. Configuration and review
You’ll complete the setup doc at your own pace. I’ll then configure your Sharetribe test site based on your inputs, asking any follow-up questions as needed. Once the initial setup is done, you’ll get access to review everything and request changes.
3. Report creation
I compile everything into a clear, structured report tailored to your product idea. The report includes evidence, analysis, and strategic recommendations, written in a way that’s easy to understand and actionable.
3. Go live and complete the final steps
When you're happy, I’ll guide you in selecting the right Sharetribe plan (Lite or Pro), then handle the final steps such as connecting your domain, setting up Stripe, and activating your live site. You’ll walk away with a working marketplace, ready to share and test.

I charge a fixed price for Sharetribe configuration projects Depending on the scope and complexity of your requirements, costs can range from £1,500 - £4,000. I charge 50% of the total project cost upfront and 50% two weeks later.
The typical length of a Sharetribe configuration project is 2-3 weeks! This means you can go-live super fast!
However, the speed will depend on how quickly you can provide me with the information I need, in order to configure your marketplace. This includes things such as copy (wording) for your homepage, the question-set for creating a listing and your marketplace logo.
I'll send you pre-work document before we get started so you know exactly what I need from you.
We can kick-off your project as soon as you've signed a contract and paid the first invoice (unless we agree to a different date). I will usually have something ready for you to review within 2-4 working days.

Of course! Whilst most clients start working with me at the idea stage, many return further down line as they build traction and gain valuable feedback and insights from their customers/suppliers.

Yes, absolutely! I have helped plenty of clients to go beyond the no-code version of their marketplace.
For example, clients often ask me to design pages and features that require additional code to build, such as a reverse marketplace or price negotiations between buyers and sellers.
In other cases, clients would like to move away from the default Sharetribe "look and feel" and ask me to design something completely different and more aligned with their own brand. For these clients, I provide bespoke designs to match the intended "personality" of their marketplace.

I use the time difference to work to my advantage and find that it works especially well with clients in America. This is because I can work whilst you're asleep. When you wake up, you'll have all day to review my designs and send me feedback. Then, the following morning (my time), I can review your feedback and jump straight into any design iterations that are required.
